On the move...

This afternoon Mary Katherine decided she didn't need her last nap. I cracked up to what I found when I went to get her! You can somewhat see the wedge that she started out in. To begin with, she was also swaddled! Usually when I go to get her after her nap, she is still in the wedge and wrapped up. You can imagine my surprise when I found her laying the opposite direction with the blanket in disarray. Normally I would have been frustrated that she didn't nap, but I couldn't help but laugh because she was so tickled and looked so darn cute!

6 month pictures

On our way to Tennessee, we took pictures in downtown Tulsa. Kizzy had everything organized and it all went so smoothly. The photographer did an awesome job. I can't pick out which pictures to get. Teal Family Visit

This week we made the trip to Tennessee to see grandparents and cousins. This was the first time for MK to meet many of these dear ones. They really went out of their way to help us and to hang out with us. Mary Katherine had a great time playing with her cousins and family! At this point, she's the baby of four grandkids. But in a little over a month she will have a new baby cousin, Caroline.

Flying High..(in more ways than one)!

Mary Katherine did really well on her first airplane adventure. We received several comments on how she was a great baby! There were no direct flights, so we had to take a total of four flights. I was so glad when that last plane landed. It's hard work entertaining a 6 month old with not alot of space. She did her happy shriek for the last 30 minutes of our last flight. She was feeling pretty happy. I'm not sure if this was because she had started to get overly tired and silly or if it was due to her first taste (or should I say tastes) of apple juice that I gave her to keep her distracted. I'm certain everyone on the plane thought the shreiking was as cute as I did!

In over our heads in laundry...(and more)

Today we are packing for our big trip to Tennessee. Mary Katherine was helping me with the laundry.

Here we are yesterday, purse in hand, getting ready to head out the door to Grandma's house. (She did this herself.)
